Shahena Uddin murder trial: Teen's 54 injuries
A woman who beat her teenage sister-in-law to death in the family home in Watford following a "regime of terror" has been jailed for life.
Shahena Uddin, 19, of Leavesden Road, fell unconscious after suffering 54 injuries and was left to die by choking on her vomit.
Salma Begum, 32, must serve a minimum of 18 years for murder. Four of Miss Uddin's brothers and a sister were also jailed at St Albans Crown Court.
Det Insp Fraser Wylie of Hertfordshire Police describes the punishment Miss Uddin received at the hands of her family.
