Norwich man is Star Wars stormtrooper

Tom Elgie landed his dream role when he was chosen as an extra for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The 21-year-old, from Norwich, attended a casting call and was selected to play a stormtrooper in the hotly-anticipated new film.

A lifelong fan of the series, Mr Elgie said: "It felt like you had gone into the Star Wars universe... since I was nine years old, that's where I wanted to be."
