Since Mike Harvey began building his Scalextric track at home in Hevingham, near Norwich, in 2012, he's spent thousands of pounds and thousands of hours on the hand-made circuit.

Measuring 97ft (30m) long, with four lanes of equal length, the current lap record is 5.6 seconds.
