Is Scottish aid making a difference in Afghanistan?
A charity set up in the memory of a Scottish aid worker who was killed in Afghanistan five years ago has raised one million pounds in her name. Linda Norgrove, who was from Lewis, was being held hostage and died during a failed rescue attempt to free her by American forces. The foundation set up in her name by her parents has been continuing the work she started by improving the lives of women and children in the war-torn country. But is Scottish aid making a difference in Afghanistan? John spoke to Scott Liddle in Kabul with the Scottish charity Turquoise Mountain
