Enid Weir talks about arriving in dank Birmingham in the 60s
Enid Weir was in her 20s when she came to the UK and she had barely arrived when she wanted to go straight back to Jamaica. But, despite the cold and the damp, she met someone who persuaded her to stay with the gifts of chocolate and a paraffin heater! Enid tells her story to Aasmah Mir, Rheanna Russell and Sharon Warmington.
