Tyler and Andy’s story, told by Sir Tom Jones
Dylan’s brother Tyler died from a life limiting condition when he was just three. He had seemed a healthy child, so his prognosis was a shock. It was particularly difficult for Dylan to understand. In Tyler’s last months he and his family were helped by life affirming music therapy at Thomas’s Fund in Northamptonshire.
A grant from 91Èȱ¬ Children in Need pays for Andy, a mobile music therapist, who visits children at home. After Tyler passed away, Andy started giving his brother Dylan music therapy sessions to help with his grief.
Thomas’s Fund was set up in memory of Thomas Smith, who died aged 10 from a life-limiting neuro-degenerative condition in 2004.
