Pint-sized TMS: Tuffers Makes A Stand

Watch as Phil Tufnell and Ed Smith discuss the merits of the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, the venue for the first Test between Pakistan and England.

Pakistan's Shoaib Malik marked his first Test for five years with a century as England struggled on the opening day of the three-match series.

Malik - caught off a no-ball on 40 - hit an unbeaten 124 and Mohammad Hafeez 98 to help Pakistan to 286-4 at the close of play in Abu Dhabi.

Younis Khan scored 38 to pass Javed Miandad's mark of 8,832 runs and become Pakistan's leading Test run scorer.

James Anderson claimed two wickets but Ian Bell dropped two simple catches.
