It's the start of the annual Freshers week in the city. More than 8000 new students are starting courses at the University of Leicester and De Montfort University. And throughout the week, they'll no doubt be getting a feel for the city as they try to make as many new friends as possible.
Yapprac Janica is the manager of De Montfort University's New Wharf Hall of Residence. She introduced our reporter Christian Hill to some of the new arrivals.
