Darcey Bussell recalls dancing MacMillan's Juliet

The Royal Ballet is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Sir Kenneth MacMillan's iconic ballet Romeo and Juliet.

Lady MacMillan guards the copyright of her late husband's work, remembering the "enormous confidence" he had in the art form which "he felt it could do anything".

Darcey Bussell, former prima ballerina, who previously performed Juliet, said it's"interesting that dancers have never ever complained that the steps should ever be changed" and that is because "it has never aged".

"He inspired so many to realise that dance doesn't stop; there isn't a limit to what it can express, to what dancers can do," said Darcey Bussell.
