Sustainable Development Goals

Statistics of development; childbirth in Zimbabwe; improving health

The first of a series of programmes looking at humanity's biggest challenges - the battle to raise the minimum standards of our health, wealth and environment for everybody - a dream contained within a complex list of specific goals unveiled by the UN this week. Ed Butler looks at the numbers, Brian Huangwe reports from Zimbabwe and Sir Andy Haines of the London School of Tropical Health and Medicine talks about the challenges of improving health in developing countries.
