'Caring professions are open to everybody'
Despite the fact that 84% of carers are women and just 16% are men, many men would prefer to be looked after by another man, Professor Martin Green, CEO of Care England
"There are some men who would rather have a male carer," said Prof Green.
"The government needs to be really clear that caring professions are open to everybody.
"Care is an option for men as well as for women."
