The issue of immigration into Europe has been in the headlines for sometime. Some of those escaping war or poverty have a final destination of Britain. To try and control the flow of people the British government have built a fence, known as the "National Barrier Asset" around the Channel Tunnel terminal at nearby Coquelles, the point where many of the migrants seek to enter the UK. The port is now protected by a 5 meter fence topped with coils of razor wire and CCTV. The gates and exterior guarded by heavily armed French riot police. In the midst of everything, it is football that is offering just a fleeting glimpse of normality for some in an otherwise chaotic Calais as Andy Jones reports
