Lisa Simone: My mother Nina

With 15 Grammy Award nominations and more than 40 albums, Nina Simone was one of the most succesful musicians and activists of her time.

A singer, pianist, songwriter and civil rights activist she is currently the subject of a Netflix documentary, a tribute album called Nina Revisited and a forthcoming film.
