England coach Bayliss has 'aura' says Mark Wood
England bowler Mark Wood says new head coach Trevor Bayliss has an 'aura' about him, and believes the team can recover from their heavy defeat in the second Ashes Test.
Bayliss took over at the start of the Ashes, and Wood says the Australian has made a big impact.
“He’s absolutely fantastic when he does speak," Wood said.
“As soon as he speaks, everyone listens. He has that aura about him."
England go into the third Ashes Test at Edgbaston on the back of a heavy defeat at Lord's, which leaves the series level at 1-1, but despite the loss, Wood says the team will respond.
"I think (you) can expect an England fightback. There’s a lot of cricket to be played."
