'Saying you're irreplacable as the drummer of AC/DC is probably inaccurate'
Is the drummer the most replaceable member of any group?
The drummer with the rock band AC/DC, Phil Rudd, tried to claim he was an 鈥渋rreplaceable member of the band鈥� during a criminal trial in New Zealand. The judge wasn鈥檛 persuaded and the band will now tour with drummer Chris Slade.
Matt Everitt, former drummer in the band Menswear said that "it depends on the band and it depends on the drummer", but that "in AC/DC's case, their dynamic is easier to duplicate".
"Replacing Ringo Star however, would be completely impossible."
