Bronwyn Slater was on the Tunisian beach when Seifeddine Rezgui attacked on Friday, killing 38 people - most of them British.
Fourteen-year-old Bronwyn, her father Richard Slater and his partner Maxine Midgely ran for safety.
"We just didn't know where to go," she said. "It were shock and terror."
Bronwyn described how the family had to go into the shops to survive, adding that she was "very glad to be home".
