Gardening tips with Colin Evans

ROSA "Super Trooper" is worth planting as it works well as a Bush Floribunda Rose with it's clusters of dazzling orange blossoms in profusion. This lovely rose has neat bushy growth with excellent disease resistance.聽

Strawberry runners can be pegged down into the open ground or into pots of compost. Once rooted cut off from the main plant and report making lots of nice new plants for the next growing season.聽

Sow Parsley in shallow drills in the open ground or in pots for use this winter. Once sown keep the plants evenly moist.聽Tip layer Cultivated Blackberries to form new plants for next year by pulling soft fleshy stems down to the ground and pegging them into position.聽

Once rooted remove from the main plant and plant into the soil to hold in position until Autumn when they can be planted into rows.聽
