No dogs allowed not even on a leash - that could soon be the reality for owners in Mid and East Antrim where the council is considering dog exclusion zones.
Anyone caught walking their dog in the zones listed - and list is extensive - could face a fine of up to 拢80. Some of the 96 areas proposed include the Knockagh Monument on the outskirts of Carrickfergus, parts of Carnfunnock Country Park in Larne as well as playing fields and community centres in Ballymena, Greenisland and Whitehead.
