FIFA The Movie: A Critical Review
The timing is exquisite. Friday saw a handful of American cinemas premier a film called "United Passions". Starring Hollywood names... it tells the story of an organisation that's been a force for good: FIFA.
Yes - the no warts at all film, which cost millions of dollars was largely financed by FIFA itself. It has the blessing of its soon to be ex-President Sepp Blatter, who is played by Tim Roth.
The film has already been shown in a handful of other countries, but now it's made its way - like the corruption allegations - to the United States. New York-based film critic Jordan Hoffman has seen it
