Phil Neville is teased for his club loyalty
Speaking about Raheem Sterling鈥檚 reluctance to renew a contract with Liverpool FC, Phil Neville revealed to 5 live Sport that he had once signed a 7 year contract with Manchester United. Mark Chapman and the team poked fun at the loyal servant.
鈥淚 think you need to be rewarded for your performances鈥� said the former Red Devils defender.
鈥淚 wanted a 10 year contract but they gave me a 7 year one.鈥�
鈥淚 think they kept rewarding me for my鈥︹�︹�� I can鈥檛 say performances can I?!?鈥�
Phil Neville made 263 senior appearances with United between the years 1995-2005 winning six Premier League titles and a European Champions League trophy.
