Ladybird Books Exhibition
If you've visited Charnwood museum in Loughborough recently you may have noticed a few changes. The old section which told the history of Ladybird books has been renovated and extended - you may have heard my report a couple of weeks ago about a talking chair bedecked in Ladybird fabric which forms the centrepiece of the exhibition but there are other new additions too. These include audio clips of former workers at the factory as well as writers and illustrators who worked on the books. Jo Haywards bumped into Roger Ashmore who was taking a close interest in the exhibition - and for good reason
