Leicester's mayor is warning there could be more tough financial decisions to make, after he was elected for another 5 years. A girls football team based at a school in Rutland hope their victory in a national championship will encourage more girls to take up the sport. The Oakham 1st XI won the Independent Schools Football Association cup in a thrilling final which tested the skills of their players - several of whom play at county and national level. One of the last surviving Vickers VC10's is currently being decommissioned at Bruntingthorpe in preparation for delivery by road from Leicestershire to Shropshire on 21st June, where she'll become a key part of the RAF Museum's collection at Cosford.
