In the world of pharmaceuticals, most of the big companies are either European or American. But one African drug-maker, Aspen Pharmacare, has recently done deals in Holland and France and is expanding into new markets in Asia and Latin America.

Aspen was founded nearly 20 years ago by Stephen Saad and he features on the 2015 Forbes Rich List.

The 91热爆鈥檚 Lerato Mbele sat down with him and asked him why local pharmaceutical companies seemed to have been silent when it came to the Ebola epidemic in West Africa.
