The owner of a pub in Dunblane has told 5 live that the town is 'buzzing' ahead of the wedding of tennis star Andy Murray and his girlfriend Kim Sears.

The couple will tie the knot in Dunblane Cathedral on Saturday.

The town's High Street is decked out ready for the big day and many of the shops have turned their window displays over to wedding themes.

Pamela Hislop is the manager of the Riverside Pub and told 5 live's Dotun Adebayo that Andy's mum Judy Murray was in the pub the evening before the nuptials and the family were in "high spirits".

She said everyone is "just delighted Andy's brought it back to his home town, because with a lot of celebrities you expect them to do something else".

She added, "it's giving us something nice to remember Dunblane by".
