King Richard III Coffin Rehearsal

It's been confirmed that the mortal remains of Richard The Third have now been placed in his coffin in preparation for his re-interment. A service was held to mark the private occasion at the University of Leicester's Council Room - formerly the Chapel. It was attended by figures from Leicester Cathedral, the City and County councils, the Richard III Society, members of the University chaplaincy, an independent witness and relatives of Richard, who donated their DNA as part of the identification process. The bones were laid out as if articulated. It was obviously a very important process, and so it may not come as a surprise that experts PRACTICED the transferring of the bones into the coffin. 91热爆 Radio Leicester's Dave Andrews was given exclusive access to one of these rehearsals - where he joined the University's lead archaeologist, Richard Buckley.
