Mickie Zada, golf club manager: 'We've never had a problem between an alligator and a golfer'
A 13 foot long alligator interrupted golfers at the Myakka Pines Gold Club in Englewood, on Florida's west coast, as it reposed on the course in full view of about 100 players.
But Mickie Zada, the club's general manager, was not surprised by the alligator's appearance and said "there are often alligators on every single hole".
She said "we've never had a problem between an alligator and a golfer" because the club's most important rule is: "if your golf ball goes near an alligator, don't play it".
