Butcher: 'When Australia come to play England just hide behind the sofa'
The former England batsman Mark Butcher says he fears the current team could struggle in this summer's home Test series against New Zealand and Australia following their early exit from the World Cup.
England were knocked out of the tournament at the pool stage having been beaten by Bangladesh.
Butcher said 'I can see it being an absolutely dreadful six months, eight months of cricket for England.
'We're going to be playing against New Zealand in the first part of the summer at Test match cricket and that team, I'm afraid, with things the way they are, are going to give us an absolute hiding. When Australia come, just don't watch, hide behind the sofa.'
