Alzheimer's patient: 'I will forget my children'
Stephen Nolan speaks to a husband and wife who are coming to terms with the impact Alzheimer's will have on them.
Leslie - who was diagnosed in 2013 - reveals fears that the time may come when he may not remember his children.
"I think I have the confidence in my kids, that they will always know who I am, if I don't even remember who they are", he said.
Leslie's wife, Val, added that her husband "lost his confidence, his sense of direction" and forgets "the simple things that we all remember to do everyday".
