In Alaska and the Canadian Yukon it is peak season for sled dog racing! We join the mushers and the huskies on the 1000-mile ‘Yukon Quest International Dog Sled Race’. The dog teams traveled the trail for nearly two weeks, but it’s not just coming first that counts in this frozen part of the world. Emily Schwing reports
