Speaking to Mark Chapman on Monday night鈥檚 Tuffers and Vaughan cricket show, the former England batsman said 鈥渟erious questions have to be asked鈥� if it goes badly for England.

"Your job as a coach is to get your players playing better than their average and try to improve upon the team and so far in a year, England haven't played good cricket", he said.

After heavy defeats by co-hosts Australia and New Zealand, England won their first game of the tournament by beating Scotland by 119 runs in Pool A.
