Collingwood: England batting line-up 'most powerful ever'
Former England one day international captain Paul Collingwood says the current batting line-up is the strongest the side has ever had, despite suffering an 111-run defeat to Australia in their Cricket World Cup opener.
Collingwood, now part of the Scotland coaching team, feels England’s batsmen have the quality to recover, saying, "I think England have the most powerful batting line-up they have ever had."
"I was involved with England for seven weeks last year with [then coach] Ashley Giles, and when you see the talent and the power the batsmen have and the way the guys balls hit the ball, it is incredible," he said.
