Stoke City chairman: 'We have a reponsibility to football' with new TV deal
The chairman of Stoke City, Peter Coates, says Premier League clubs have a "responsibility to football" to ensure money flows through the whole of the game following the announcement of a new multi-billion pound TV deal.
The new deal for live TV rights will come in from the 2016/17 season and will be worth over £5 billion over three seasons.
Coates says supporters on "lower and average incomes need to be facilitated. We will certainly want our supporters to benefit from the money we get from TV rights".
