Football hooligans' mums steward match to stop violence

A leading Brazilian football club has come up with a novel idea to tackle the problem of hooliganism among fans.

Sport Club of Recife, who play in the country's top division, hired and trained thirty mothers of their regular fans as match day stewards without their sons knowing. The aim was to deter the fans from creating trouble.
