David Moyes fails his on air Spanish exam
Real Sociedad manager David Moyes failed to pass his on-air Spanish exam when talking to 5 live Sport about life in La Liga.
Moyes said one of the biggest challenges has been the language barrier, and revealed he takes two Spanish lessons a week.
"It's difficult to communicate at times. I鈥檝e probably got eight or nine players that speak English, so that helps," said the 51-year-old.
"I have offered to do more lessons but my Spanish teacher says he doesn鈥檛 want me to go faster because it鈥檚 too difficult.鈥
5 live's Mark Chapman asked what his favourite Spanish phrase was - "Don鈥檛 ask me that! These are the sort of moments where you get caught out and I鈥檓 trying not to get caught out at the moment!鈥 replied the former Manchester United boss.
