Can Soho’s soul survive development?
London’s Soho has been an entertainment hub since the early 18th Century.
Since then, artists, intellectuals and hedonists have flocked there looking for stimulation of all sorts.
It’s had a reputation as a wellspring of creative talent and as the seedy underbelly of the West End.
Its pubs, bars and restaurants are packed every night of the week.
But now some fear the party is finally coming to an end. We sent Ade to explore the popular warren of streets undergoing a facelift.
