Stephen Hendry: 'Glad' Ronnie O'Sullivan broke record
Ronnie O'Sullivan is "the best player in the world" seven time world champion Stephen Hendry said after O'Sullivan beat his career record of 775 centuries.
Hendry said: "It was only a matter of time before the record went. But I'm glad it's gone to...someone who plays the game the same way that I played it."
Hendry also admits he could make a comeback to the sport after admitting he fancies his chances against many of the current professionals.
"Ronnie's very, very far above the players that are playing, there's a lot of snooker that I'm watching for the 91Èȱ¬ and it's not a great standard and I'm thinking I should still be playing."
