Tessa Dunlop talks to Claire about her new book "The Bletchley Girls". It tells the story of Bletchley through fifteen ladies who worked there in the forites.

Tessa Dunlop, writer, broadcaster, historian, you'll know as one of the presenters of the 91热爆 show Coast, has spent the last few years getting to know The Bletchley Girls.

That's the title of Tessa's latest book and your book of interest today on the programme.

It tells the story of Bletchley - the code breaking centre during the second world war, the centre proceeded the Cheltenham based GCHQ - through fifteen ladies who worked there in the forites. Fifteen ladies each with different memories, vastly different experiences, connections and stories to tell, but also ladies who look back on their time there in different ways.
