Nevin: Lukaku was ‘best highlights player in the world’
Former Chelsea player Pat Nevin say's Everton stiker Romelu Lukaku "doesn't work hard enough" and needs to "work his socks off" if he wants to be the best player in the team.
Nevin said "Last season, I thought he was the best highlight's player in the world - and that isn't a good thing!"
"I sound really hard on Lukaku here; he might even be offended, but I wouldn’t say this about a player I didn’t think was any good."
"I think he could be absolutely brilliant but goodness knows he needs to work."
The Everton striker scored a late equalisier for Everton in the 3rd round of the FA Cup against West Ham, but Nevin said: "he only got decent in the 2nd half when he got kicked a few times and he got angry."
"Get him angry and you might get more out of him!"
