Phillips: 'Henderson is good, but no Gerrard'
Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has announced he will leave Anfield to join Los Angeles Galaxy in July, with many expecting Jordan Henderson to fill the 34-year-old's role.
Match of the Day commentator Guy Mowbray and ex-England striker Kevin Phillips discuss Gerrard's departure.
When asked if Henderson will increase his goal tally in the future, Phillips replied "Steve's a natural goal scorer, he can score goals from everywhere. Jordan is a fantastic player."
"I believe he could make a great Liverpool captain, but he's not Steven Gerrard. He's irreplaceable."
