Last words to mum and sister: 'Run, the water's coming'

Erwanda, who is now 26, lost his mother and sister in the Boxing Day tsunami 10 years ago, and regrets not saying "goodbye".

As the wave came in, his last words to his family were "run, the water's coming".

Erwanda survived the tsunami by "climbing on to the roofs of houses" and then waited a week to find his mother and sister, but "never saw them again".

In August, he found his father's body, who had gone to work that day. Erwanda now works at a guest house and spends his spare time surfing.
