Sri Lankan under-19 cricketer survived tsunami
Pulina Tharanga was having treatment on his leg Ambalangoda ground when the boxing-day tsunami struck.
The cricketer, who was just 11-years-old at the time, returned to his village to find his mother and their home had gone.
Pulina's Father wrote to a disaster relief foundation, The Foundation of Goodness, to get his son's cricket items replaced so he could continue playing the sport.
He has since gone on to play for the Sri Lankan Under 19s World Cup squad in 2012 in Brisbane and the Tamil Union Team.
