The number of drivers going on a speed awareness course in Gloucestershire has nearly doubled within a year.

During the spring & summer of this year, 8 thousand people went on a course, compared to four thousand 2 hundred in the same period of 2013.

At the same time, the number of speeding offences in Gloucestershire has also risen - from 15 thousand in the whole of 2013 up to more than 19 thousand in the first 9 months of this year.
