Missing Planes: Why No Real Time Tracking Yet?

As an Air Asia airplane goes missing, we ask why it has taken so long to install location tracking devices on airplanes

As an Air Asia airplane goes missing, we ask why it has taken so long to install location tracking devices on airplanes. Aviation crash investigator Anne Evans tells us why, after a string of disappearing airplanes, it is still difficult to get consensus for the big airlines to install real-time tracking. We look at the repercussions of a snap election in Greece, and who is likely to win, amidst contesting views on implementing austerity. We listen to a conversation between two big banking brains: Chairman of the Federal Reserve, and former Governor of the Bank of England Mervyn King, as they talk sports, memories and recessions. Finally, we report from Lithuania as it prepares to join the Euro. All this with our guests David Kuo from financial website The Motley Fool in the UK, and Jose Martin, a social researcher and blogger. Presenter by Manuela Saragosa.
