Ebola: Sierra Leone 'a country under siege'
There is "real frustration" with the speed of international aid for ebola victims in Sierra Leone, a British medic has said.
Professor John Wright, director of the Bradford's Institute for Health Research, is leading a team of 25 Norwegian doctors and nurses in the country for Doctors of the World.
"Everywhere you go there are security checkpoints...in place of guns there are laser thermometers" he said.
The UK government is building six ebola treatment centres as part of a "considerable effort", but Professor Wright said only one centre is currently open and not operating at full capacity. He said there is a "real need to speed up and get this done".
