Squeezing Greece

Will Greece get more bail out money? The Troika meets this week to decide whether or not it has met the conditions of its rescue plan, thus far, with 1.8 billion Euros at stake.

Demonstrators were back on the streets of Athens at the weekend, as the government voted through its latest budget. And now the Troika meets to decide whether Greece has met the austerity measures needed to receive the next bail out instalment of 1.8 billion Euros. Dr Vassilis Monastiriotis from the Hellenic Observatory and European Institute, part of the London School of Economics, joins us to consider what is happening in the Greek economy. Also, skills gaps can cripple an economy. Jonas Prising, is the chief executive of one of the world's biggest recruitment companies, Manpower. So do skills gaps represent a challenge or an opportunity for his business? And new technology may itself make that process of adjustment easier, or at least thatis what our regular commentator, Lucy Kellaway of the Financial Times, believes.
