Ebola vaccination plan for gorillas
The effect of ebola on gorillas is "pretty horrific", Peter Walsh lecturer in Primate Quantitative Ecology at Cambridge University has said.
A third of gorilla's in West Africa have been wiped out by the virus.
Mr Walsh said he is "trying to go out and vaccinate gorillas in the wild".
In future he said vaccinations for wild animals will be "self-disseminating vaccines" which will be given to animals which then pass it on through the species, "but right now the state of the art is oral vaccine".
