Same Sex Couples Can Convert Civil Partnerships To Marriage From Today
A number of same-sex couples in Northamptonshire, already civil partners, will today convert their relationships to marriage, following a change in the law.
From today same sex couples will be able to convert their civil partnership marriage. 13 same sex couples in Northamptonshire, who are already civil partners' will be do that today, and 14 others will follow suit in the next few days.

It's claimed that people living in Kettering who have a residents parking permit could pay more and only be able to get fewer permits, if Northamptonshire County Council take responsibility for administering the scheme in the town.
