Julie鈥檚 Story told by Lorraine Pascale
Play therapist Julie at TACT helps adoptive parents bond with children who, in some cases, have been fostered or living in care for several years. Some have been traumatised by their early childhood experiences so trust no one. Through therapeutic play, she literally helps to re-build their broken lives.
A grant from 91热爆 Children in Need helps fund her role at TACT, The Adolescent and Children鈥檚 Trust in London - so that nearly 30 children a year can begin to feel secure, loved and part of a family unit, while their new parents develop skills that are unique to adoption.
