Joost Van der Westhuizen, the former South African rugby union international and World Cup winner talks to Sonja McLaughlan about his incurable condition.
He describes how he is undergoing research to see if there is a link between the concussions he received as a player and MND.
His brother translates his answers as his ability to speak has been seriously affected by the disease.
