Stress and the ambulance service

South West Ambulance Service staff took over 900 days off last year because of stress, anxiety and depression - that's more than over he previous three years combined.

The union UNISON says the NHS 111 service is putting more pressure of Paramedics and Ambulance drivers in Gloucestershire.

In the last year, South West Ambulance Service staff took over 900 days off because of stress, anxiety and depression - that's more than over he previous three years combined!!

Care UK - which runs 111 in Gloucestershire - says call-out rates in the county are no higher than those experienced in other parts of the country.
